IBM DB2 Client-side Software Services

 

     Computer Scientist Inc. (CSI) develops Microsoft Windows, Unix, and Web client software for IBM Database 2(DB2). CSI develops two-tier and multi-tier client software.  CSI provides the  following development or development related services:
  • Setup of client side hardware.
  • Setup of client side software.
  • Setup database listners and communication drivers.
  • Setup client TCP/IP or other network protocals to communicate with the authentication server and database server.
  • Setup client database data connectivity driver.
  • Test client connectivity.
  • Develop software to communicate with the database or the middle tier.
  • Develop software to retrieve data from database or accept responses from the middle tier.
  • Develop software to connect to third party off the shelf software.
  • Build procedures for client error handling.
  • Build procedures for client software maintenance.

     CSI also develops client software to administer IBM DB2 application software.
